USDN Policies and Agenda
USDN’s policy agenda is guided by integrity, inclusion, accountability, and measurable community impact. Our priorities are to expand access to quality education and TVET, strengthen youth mentorship and leadership, prevent narcotic drug use, protect children and vulnerable people, promote women and girls’ empowerment, and support resilient communities across Liberia.
We work with the Government of Liberia, UN organizations, international and local NGOs, churches, faith-based organizations, schools, families, and community leaders. Our policies guide responsible fundraising, safeguarding, ethical partnerships, financial control, monitoring and evaluation, data protection, complaints handling, and transparent reporting.
USDN reviews its agenda as community needs change and uses evidence, partner feedback, and beneficiary voices to improve its programs.

Transparency and Accountability
We maintain rigorous standards of internal governance so that every decision USDN makes can be understood, questioned, and trusted by our members and partners. Our policy agenda is guided by clear priorities: expanding access to quality education, amplifying student voices in national dialogue, and building the next generation of ethical Liberian leaders.
Accountability means openly reporting on our activities and finances, safeguarding the wellbeing and dignity of every student we serve, and working with partners whose values align with ours. Through responsible partnerships and community service, we turn our commitments into measurable action for students and communities across Liberia.
Safeguarding and Community Service
USDN is committed to protecting the students it serves and to giving back to the communities that shape them.

Safeguarding Students
We uphold clear standards of conduct, respect, and care in all programs and events, so every member can participate in a safe, inclusive environment and raise concerns with confidence.

Community Service
Our members translate advocacy into action through volunteer initiatives, outreach, and partnerships that strengthen schools and communities across Liberia.
Building Global Alliances for Liberian Students
USDN works alongside educational institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, and government stakeholders to expand opportunities for Liberian students. Every partnership is guided by shared values, clear agreements, and transparent reporting, so that collaboration delivers measurable benefits to students and the communities they serve.
